King Pharmaceuticals has decided to discontinue the manufacturing of Tilade Inhaler (nedocromil sodium inhalation aerosol). The decision is based upon many factors, including the company’s inability to identify a qualified manufacturer for a chlorofluorocarbon propellant inhaler. Tilade Inhaler is indicated for maintenance therapy of mild-to-moderate asthma in adult and pediatric patients ≥6 years of age.
