Mylan has launched a generic version of Sciele’s Sular ER (nisoldipine extended-release tablets) in 20mg, 30mg, and 40mg dosage strengths. Sciele currently only manufactures Sular with a geomatrix, extended-release delivery system that is available in 8.5mg, 17mg, 25.5mg, and 34mg dosage strengths.

Sular and Sular ER are indicated for the treatment of hypertension.
