AstraZeneca's Pulmicort Turbuhaler 200 mcg (budesonide inhalation powder) has been discontinued. Pulmicort Flexhaler (budesonide inhalation powder), another inhaled corticosteroid manufactured by AstraZeneca, has been made available for the maintenance treatment of asthma in adults and children ≥6 years old. Pulmicort Flexhaler is available in 90 mcg and 180 mcg dosage strengths.
