The FDA has approved a 12.5mg dose of Risperdal Consta [(risperidone) Long-Acting Injection] in addition to the 25mg, 37.5mg, and 50mg dose units already available. Risperdal Consta is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia. The 12.5mg dose of Risperdal Consta is expected to be available by May 2007.
